: Session 1 | What is Social Enterprise? Where do I start? (presented by Social Traders)
Hear from the industry leaders, Social Traders, on what defines a social enterprise and what it takes to start and run one.

11am-12.30pm: Session 2 | Why Doing Good is Good for Business (workshop, presented by Goodsmiths)
Join us for a workshop where we’ll show you how to create a cause marketing strategy and bring that strategy to life.

12.30pm-2.15pm: Session 3 | Lunch and Meet the Makers (panel discussion)
Meet the inspiring people powering some of Melbourne’s most exciting social enterprises over lunch, and then enjoy a short talk about the experiences and insights they’ve picked up along the way. Guest speakers include Jarrod Briffa, CEO & Co-founder of Kinfolk Enterprise and Cinnamon Evans, CEO of CERES Environment Park.

2.30pm-4pm: Session 4 | Social Purpose and Direction (panel discussion)
Join our panel of experts as they explore different options for embedding purpose into your business, discuss ways to communicate the Good that’s being done and explore what it means to the financial model and and overarching business strategy. Guest speakers include Bessi Graham, impact investor, consultant and CEO of The Difference Incubator, and Paul Loftus, Head of Sales at Powershop.

4.15pm-5pm: Session 5 | Victorian Govt Supporting the Social Sector (presented by our Major Partner: Department of Economic Development, Jobs, Transport & Resources)
The Victorian social enterprise sector is recognised as the largest and most dynamic in Australia, with currently more than 5,000 social enterprises trading across Victoria employing an estimated 75,000 people. Hear from the State Government about what they are doing to support the sector and the opportunities that lay ahead.

Then from 5pm onwards, stay for drinks and nibbles and network with the best of them.
