Good things we do
When it comes to sustainability, we 100% walk the talk. From our ingredients, to our packaging, to the way we run our office – we take responsibility.
We facilitate ethical business through our:
- Manufacturing practices
We do everything we can to ensure our manufacturing practices are sustainable. For us this means using recyclable materials and manufacturing in small batches to minimise wastage. We only use renewable energy and we have a paperless office.
- Packaging and recycling
We design with the end-life of our products in mind and use as much recyclable packaging as possible. All of our packaging is made right here in Australia to minimise our carbon footprint. Our shipping boxes are made from recycled cardboard and we use biodegradable bubble wrap. We even make the labels on our nail polish remover bottles from HDPE (the most recyclable plastic on the planet) so the entire bottle can be recycled and reused.
Our staff are encouraged to take 10 paid days off work a year to volunteer for a charity of their choice.
We often collaborate with local charities, and run campaigns to fundraise on their behalf. For example, we raised $68,000 when when we partnered with YGAP’s Polished Man campaign; with all profits targeting violence against children. Furthermore, we donate $1 from every online order to one of our charity partners: Educate Girls and the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre. The future is female, after all! Finally, we donate at least 2% of revenue including in-kind donations to registered charities every year.
