Good Cycles love fixing bikes. From fixing a puncture to a complete rebuild in their full-service workshop, they’ll have your bike humming along in no time. And what’s more, they can come to you, offering mobile servicing at your workplace, university or event.
They’re also pretty crazy about helping people with disadvantage rise above the barriers they face in life. All revenue from their commercial activities including the bike shop, online store, servicing centre and bike share operations, pays for their social operations.
They support at-risk youth, the long-term unemployed, the disengaged and socially isolated, the physically and intellectually disabled, alcohol and drug rehabilitation centres, youth justice and prisons, refugees and asylum seekers. That’s a big list and a lot of good. They do this by providing immediate employment opportunities to people in their programs while establishing long-term employment outcomes through an extensive industry network.
