Amazingly authentic dinners supporting talented asylum seekers.

Traditional Sri Lankan dishes prepared by Tamil chefs – can’t get more authentic than this.

Three times a week, four refugees currently seeking asylum are able to share their cultural food heritage through விருந்து Tamil Feasts, providing us with a taste of their culture, their traditional dishes and their story.

You can feast on Tamil delights on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights at The Merri Table Café from 7:00pm. You’ll be treated to three courses for $30 and there are a host of kids options (and chairs) too.

Right now, anyone booking in gets to indulge in some seriously yummy food and show their support for Sri, Nirma, Nigethan and Niro.

Each time you attend விருந்து Tamil Feasts, you’ll be making a positive impact on these four amazing men, supporting their new lives working in a new country.

So, come, book in (they often sell out) for authentic and vibrant Tamil specialities based on Bhaji dishes, seafood, and meat and treat the children to smaller, spice-free plates. And, when you come back for more, which you won’t be able to resist, you’ll broaden your Tamil palette even further, because no two feasts are the same!
